Stephanie is a fourth-year PhD Candidate in Accounting at the Business Economics Department. Her research interests include disclosure and regulation. Her work contributes to our understanding of disclosure as both a communication tool and a strategic choice given institutional and informational frictions.  

Job market paper 

In her job market paper titled 鈥淪ubstantive regulation and voluntary public disclosure: Early Evidence from the EU AI Act鈥, Stephanie investigates whether firms adjust their voluntary disclosure in anticipation of the EU AI Act, a regulation that provides a framework surrounding firm鈥檚 AI activities.
