The construction of the Southern Ring Road in Groningen was delayed. After disagreement between the project organisation and the builder, a committee led by Professor Marcel Hertogh was set up. This committee had to make sure that further escalation between the approach to the southern ring road and Combinatie Herepoort was prevented.
