Activities

The European Civil Justice Centre initiates and (co) organizes research and related activities, including academic conferences, webinars and trainings for professionals in the area of civil procedure and private international law. We organize informal (closed or public) bi-weekly research meetings, intended to discuss ongoing research or present research results. We are a research hub to facilitate joint research projects and welcome initiatives. Updates are also included on our website and shared through our .

Seminar: Book launch Heroes of the Judicial Periphery - 4 July 2025 

The European Civil Justice Centre (Erasmus School of Law) hosts a seminar, organized by Xandra Kramer and editors Stefaan Voet and Alan Uzelac to launch the book . The editors discuss topical issues highlighting these ‘actors in the shadows’ and selected key experts present the main findings of their chapters, followed by discussion. Seminar: Sustaining Access to Justice – 5 September 2025

The European Civil Justice Centre (Erasmus School of Law) hosted a seminar, organized by Xandra Kramer, Masood Ahmed, Adriani Dori and Masood Ahmed, on the occasion of launching the book (Hart Publishing 2025).
