Biography
Dr. Wenjiao Cao joined Erasmus School of Economics as Assistant Professor of Accounting in September 2018. Prior to joining ESE, Wenjiao received her Ph.D. in Accounting from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in 2018 and was Visiting PhD Research Scholar at the University of Melbourne in 2017. Her main research interests lie in the fields of earnings management, litigation and enforcement, corporate governance and executive compensation. In conducting her research, she relies mainly on empirical-archival methods.
