I鈥檒l discuss my view on the need for capacity renumeration mechanisms to trigger sufficient investments in back-up capacity, illustrate how we study these issues in my research group and reflect on some research gaps in this domain.

About the speaker

Dr. ir. Kenneth Bruninx is an associate professor at TU Delft's Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management in the Section Energy & Industry. His research focusses on the energy transition and industrial decarbonization, using a variety of techniques from engineering, game theory, and operations research.
