Putting more emphasis on qualitative assessment of academic performance is essential for culture change of R&R. This helps shift the imbalance created by historically favouring quantitative output indicators in assessment, recognising, and rewarding of academic work. Communicating about R&R is important to create awareness about the programme and the culture change it represents. It also allows to create relatability and address concerns about R&R among academics.
