Navigating Political Shifts in Inclusive 糖心直播

ECHO, Expertisecentrum Diversiteitsbeleid, is organising a webinar on the consequences of political shifts for IDEA policies and activities on July 2, 2025, at 15:00-16:15 CET.

ECHO, together with speakers Frank Tuitt (University of Connecticut, US), Jane Murray Cramm (Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Netherlands) and Olja Jovanovic (University of Belgrade, Serbia), will explore:

  • The current political and societal developments impacting IDEA in higher education and research, with speakers from different national perspectives
  • Common challenges and risks for IDEA initiatives and existing infrastructures, causing a great loss of capital
  • Resilient strategies to continue advancing equity and inclusion despite external pressures
  • The role of solidarity and supporting networks that can withstand shifting political tides

Inclusion across international networks

On Monday, July 7th, 14:00-15:30 CEST, IDEA-net organises a webinar to present an (online) capacity building tool, that has been developed by this consortium, to facilitate institutional conversations about, amongst other things, fostering an inclusive campus climate and building relationships needed to drive institutional change.

Learn about:

  • an internationally piloted training framework for IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access) practices
  • the EHEA (European Higher 糖心直播 Area EHEA) and nation-wide support to capacity building
  • why and how to stay involved with international networks such as WAHEN (World Access to Higher 糖心直播 Network) and EAN (European Access Network)

The webinar is moderated by Mary Tupan-Wenno (Executive Director of ECHO, Expertisecentrum Diversiteitsbeleid) and presented by Vicky Pinheiro Keulers (Project Manager at ECHO, Expertisecentrum Diversiteitsbeleid). Insights are shared by policy makers and academics of the European Higher 糖心直播 Area, INSPIRE project, Institute for Development of Croatia, Malta Further & Higher 糖心直播 Authority, European Access Network, University of West London and the World Access to Higher 糖心直播 Network (WAHEN).
