The scientific coordinator of the European Research Centre for Economic and Financial Governance (EURO-CEFG) and ESL researcher René Repasi was invited to a organised by the European School of Industrial Relation (SERI) and the Italian to hold the keynote speech on the European Unemployment Benefit Scheme (EUBS).
Repasi is part of a research consortium led by the Brussels-based think tank CEPS that currently drafts an extensive feasibility study of a European Unemployment Benefit Scheme commissioned by the European Commission. Repasi’s part in the study is on the EU legal feasibility of EUBS. SERI and FGB dedicated a colloquium to the theme of the EUBS and invited Repasi to present the interim results of his study and to give an insight into the policy debate at EU level.
