prof.dr. HCK (Conrad) Heilmann

Biography

Conrad Heilmann is an associate professor of philosophy at Erasmus School of Philosophy, a co-director of the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE), and a member of the core team of the Erasmus Initiative  "Dynamics of Inclusive Prosperity".

Conrad Heilmann does research in philosophy of economics, in particular on fairness, behavioural economics, discounting, and measurement. He also has broader interests in the philosophy of science and social science as well as social and moral philosophy. 

Conrad Heilmann holds a PhD in philosophy from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he worked with  Richard Bradley, Katie Steele, and Franz Dietrich. Before, he obtained degrees in economics (Hamburg), Political Science (IEP Lille), and Philosophy of Social Science (LSE).

Conrad Heilmann is a Research Associate with the LSE Choice Group and the LSE Centre for the Philosophy of Natural and Social Science (CPNSS).
