The Connected Learning Symposium is a yearly interdisciplinary event, where students and alumni present and discuss their research and ideas regarding issues of social justice. 

This symposium aims to create a space for students to learn from each other and foster connections with peers across disciplines. By participating, students and alumni contribute to a growing community of changemakers and demonstrate their critical role in shaping (new) possibilities for social justice.

Have you been reflecting on or researching inequalities and/or efforts to combat them as part of your studies? Would you like to share your ideas and learn from others? Then join us for the 4th Connected Learning Symposium!

📅&�Բ�����;When? June 7th 2025 | 13:00 to 17:00 (followed by drinks)

📍&�Բ�����;Where? De Machinist (Willem Buytewechstraat 45, Rotterdam)

All kinds of research are welcome – whether completed or in progress – including:

• Theses
• Thesis/research proposals
• Course essays, presentation slides, posters (individual or group work)
• Previous or current internship projects/experiences
• Other class experiences!

Previous research topics have included:

• Housing  and urban planning
• �Ѿ��������پ��Dz� �į�į&�Բ�����;
• Gender 
• Race and ethnicity
• Human rights
• �ʴDZ�����ٲ� �į�į&�Բ�����;
• �����پ��������� �į�į&�Բ�����;
• Social policies and their effects on different social groups    
• �ұ�Գٰ����ھ������پ��Dz� �į�į&�Բ�����;
• Differentiated access to social services and resources   
• Media representation 
• War and conflict 
• Among others!

‼️&�Բ�����;Register your work  by the 27th of May (extended deadline) to be a part of the event! All presenters will receive a certificate for their participation.
